Vis is an authentic island, free from mass
tourism, 2 hours away from Split by boat, with company Jadrolinja’s
ferries, or 1h30 away by catamaran. Daily links with cars shipping water. Every Tuesday link Hvar/Vis by boat. Vis is composed by two large towns, the one of Vis and Komiza, at the other edge of the island. Boats arrive to Vis, where the apartments are located Beaches are easily accessible; one is a five-minute walk from apartments. To see, to do - In Vis: walk around the Luka promenade where the businesses are, restaurants till Kut. - Stoncica beaches (sand) 9 kilometres away from Vis, or Uvala Srebena (round pebbles) in the silver bay. - Beach in Luka, 5 minutes walking from the apartments. - Starting from Komiza, visit the Blue Cave on Bisevo Island. - Cave where Tito had his HQ during World War II, Titova Spilja on Mount Hum. |
