Vis is an authentic island, free from mass
tourism, 2 hours away from Split by boat, with company Jadrolinja’s
ferries, or 1h30 away by catamaran.
Daily links with cars shipping water.
Every Tuesday link Hvar/Vis by boat.
Vis is composed by two large towns, the one of Vis and Komiza, at the
other edge of the island.

Beaches are easily accessible; one is a five-minute walk from apartments.
To see, to do
- In Vis: walk around the Luka promenade where the businesses are,
restaurants till Kut.
- Stoncica beaches (sand) 9 kilometres away from Vis, or Uvala Srebena
(round pebbles) in the silver bay.
- Beach in Luka, 5 minutes walking from the apartments.
- Starting from Komiza, visit the Blue Cave on Bisevo Island.
- Cave where Tito had his HQ during World War II, Titova Spilja on
Mount Hum. |
